Mainland’s foreign minister schedules visit to Cape Verde on African tour

Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi will visit four African countries, including Portuguese-speaking Cape Verde, Xinhua reports.

The Chinese government-run news agency quotes a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hua Chunying, as saying Mr Wang will tour Mauritania, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire and Cape Verde. The tour is scheduled to begin tomorrow and end on Tuesday.
