Representatives of Mozambique have been visiting the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou to try to interest Chinese investors in big projects, namely the Maluana Science and Technology Park in Mozambique, the Hangzhou Daily reports.
The newspaper says the Mozambican visitors presented their projects for investment during a three-day event in Hangzhou called “Invest in Africa”, which was jointly arranged by the International Trade Centre, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China-Africa Development Fund and the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government.
During the event representatives of Mozambique and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a cooperation agreement, the Hangzhou Daily says.
