Angola’s new Ambassador to China presented his credentials to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, the Angolan news agency Angop reports. João Salvador dos Santos Neto replaces João Garcia Bires as the head of the Angolan Embassy in China.
Mr Neto met Fan Yong, deputy director of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and discussed bilateral interests, the report said.
Both expressed their satisfaction at the existing excellent bilateral relations, and vowed to consolidate and further deepen cooperation under the strategic partnership agreement between Angola and China.
