Pan-Pearl River Delta delegation to visit Brazil, Portugal

Some 50 representatives of the Pan-Pearl River Delta region, assembled by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), will visit Brazil and Portugal from March 5 to 12, the institute says.

It says the group will aim to increase Sino-Brazilian and Sino-Portuguese co-operation in research and exchanges in the field of environmental protection and maritime matters.

The members will visit government departments and companies in Brazil and Portugal.

The mission will help promote the function of Macao as place where China and the Portuguese-speaking world can conduct business, IPIM says.
