Portugal-China Forum brings together more than 220 businesspeople in Lisbon

More than 220 businesspeople from Mainland China, Portugal and Macao have discussed cooperation in productive capacity between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries in Lisbon this week.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) says The Forum of Business Opportunities between Portugal, China and Macao resulted in two agreements. Businessmen from Macao and Portugal signed deals involving the exchange of information and news, and the distribution of health and sanitation products.

In his opening speech at the forum, IPIM president Jackson Chang, said Macao was committed to the active implementation of support measures defined by Beijing to consolidate Macao as a platform for cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The event was co-organised by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade of China, the Portuguese Agency for Foreign Trade and Investment (AICEP) and IPIM.
