Portugal and China were the biggest markets for Mozambican exports of shellfish last year, Lusa reports.
The Portuguese news agency, citing the Mozambican National Statistics Institute as its source, says Mozambican exports of shellfish, including lobster and shrimp, were worth US$38.2 million last year.
The report says Portugal bought 36.2 percent and China bought 27.5 percent.
Portugal also bought 45.2 percent of Mozambican sugar exports last year, Lusa says.
