Portuguese trade and investment agency to open a fourth Mainland office

AICEP Portugal Global plans to open an office in Guangzhou, its fourth in China, towards the end of the year, the People’s Daily reports.

The Communist Party newspaper quotes Portuguese Secretary of State of Internationalisation Jorge Costa Oliveira during a visit to Beijing.

“China will become the country where, clearly, we have the biggest stake in terms of the external trade and investment network, and this reflects our commitment and our willingness to strengthen this co-operation,” Mr Oliveira is quoted as saying.

AICEP Portugal Global is the Portuguese agency for trade and investment. The agency currently has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Macao, the People’s Daily says.
