São Tomé and Príncipe offers visas on arrival to some Mainland visitors

São Tomé and Príncipe will grant visas on arrival to all Mainland visitors, Macauhub reports.

The website says the Department of Foreign Affairs of São Tomé and Príncipe will also exempt holders of diplomatic and service passports from paying for visas for stays less than 15 days.

São Tomé and Príncipe officials says tourism is a mechanism to strengthen co-operation with the Mainland.

The two countries resumed official ties in December and have since signed co-operation agreements in Beijing last month.
