Chinese Ambassador to São Tomé e Príncipe Wang Wei was among the 100 or more guests that attended the celebration of the first anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Business Chamber in São Tomé e Príncipe, the Chinese Embassy in São Tomé says.
The embassy issued a written statement quoting the ambassador as telling the gathering said that friendly co-operation has given Chinese companies operating in São Tomé e Príncipe many opportunities to develop in the past year.
Mr Wang expressed hope that the Chinese Business Chamber in São Tomé e Príncipe will contribute even more in the coming year than it did in the year gone by to the development of relations between China and São Tomé e Príncipe, the Chinese Embassy says.
