Seminar in Shenyang on business between China and Portuguese-speaking countries

A seven-day seminar on trade between China with Portuguese-speaking countries and Chinese investment in the lusophone world has begun in the Chinese city of Shenyang, the Macao Daily News reports.
The newspaper says the seminar will end on July 3.
The report says the seminar was arranged by the Macao Convention & Exhibition Association with the support of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and others. The event is intended to increase commercial exchanges and co-operation between the Portuguese-speaking world and China, including Macao.
The attendance is expected to be over 500, including representatives of the Macao SAR Government, Macao companies, embassies of Portuguese-speaking countries in China, and mainland Chinese associations and companies.
Nearly 30 exhibitors are showing wine, food, and lighting made in Portuguese-speaking countries.
The event includes many presentations on investment opportunities and business-matching sessions, and a food fair, the newspaper says.
