Seven deals signed between China, Portuguese-speaking Countries in Macao

Seven cooperation agreements between Mainland China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries were signed during the eighth edition of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum held in Macao last week.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, one of the forum’s organisers, said the two-day event attracted more than 1,700 participants from 63 countries and regions, and arranged the signing of 24 business contracts, framework agreements or memorandums of understanding.

The event included the High-Level Seminar on Finance and International Co-operation for Productivity between Mainland China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The forum unleashes Macao’s role as a commercial service platform between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, the institute says.
