Sinohydro Corp. will build a football stadium in Guinea-Bissau, the online news portal Macauhub reports.
The state-owned company and Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports, Tomás Barbosa, recently signed a memorandum of understanding in the Guinean capital, Bissau.
The new stadium will have a 45,000-spectator capacity, the report says. Work to assess the project should begin next month.
Macauhub says Sinohydro has actively sought new investments in energy and infrastructure projects in Guinea-Bissau.
