The proprietor of Paradise Soaps of Cabo Verde, Inês Silva, has said her enterprise has begun exporting its products to Macao, the United States and the Canary Islands, Inforpress reports.
The Cabo Verde state-run news agency quotes Ms Silva as saying demand abroad for Paradise Soaps products is huge.
The report says Paradise Soaps products are meant especially for children, and are made only with ingredients found in Cabo Verde, such as goat’s milk, aloe vera and sulphur.
It says Paradise Soaps began making soap about a year ago in a factory on the island of Santo Antão, and that it now intends to start making shampoo there.
The seven employees make 380 soap bars or containers liquid soap per day, Inforpress says.
