Chinese courier company STO Express will set up in the first half of next year a shopping website where Brazilians can buy Chinese products, O Globo reports.
Brazilian newspaper says the STO Express subsidiary in Brazil, X-Tong, will operate the website.
The report says that, to begin with, the website will allow Brazilian enterprises to order goods direct from Chinese suppliers and receive their orders within three weeks.
Eventually the website will allow Brazilian consumers to buy products direct from China.
O Globo quotes an STO Express adviser, Ji Xianqun, as saying her company intends to invest “many millions of dollars” in the website.
