The median forecast of foreign direct investment in Brazil this year given by analysts polled by the Brazilian central bank is now US$85 billion, Xinhua reports.
The Chinese government-run news agency says the latest weekly survey by the bank found that the median forecast of FDI in Brazil next year given by the analysts polled is slightly lower at US$84.68 billion.
The median forecasts of the annual rate of Brazilian economic growth rose to 0.83 percent from 0.81 percent for this year, and to 2.2 percent from 2.1 percent for next year.
The median forecast of the benchmark interest rate at the end of this year is 5 percent – the rate being an already historically low 6 percent now.
The median forecast of the annual rate of consumer price inflation in Brazil this year is 3.71 percent, Xinhua says, citing the results of the central bank survey.
