TAP to start Brazil-Hong Kong air freight service

Portuguese airline TAP will start in May an air cargo service between Brazil and Hong Kong via Portugal, NewsAvia reports.

The aviation news website, citing a TAP announcement, says scheduled flights of TAP or its associated Brazilian airline, Azul, will carry cargo between Brazil and Portugal.

The report says TAP will use leased freighters for the leg between Portugal and Hong Kong.

The new service was announced during the visit of Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to the TAP stand at the International Food and Beverage Sector Exhibition in Lisbon, NewsAvia says.
