Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries reaches US$131.4 bln in 2013

Trade between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries hit US$131.4 billion in the whole of 2013, up by 2.31 percent from the previous year, according to data from the Chinese General Administration of Customs.

Chinese imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries were up 0.04 percent year-on-year in 2013, reaching US$87.4 billion. China sold goods and services to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$44 billion during the year, up by 7.14 percent from the previous year.

Total trade value for the month of December reached US$12.25 billion, up by 21 percent from the previous month.

The value of China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries grew by 29.83 percent month-on-month to US$7.86 billion in December, while exports to those countries reached US$4.39 billion, up by 7.89 percent from the previous month.
