Trade between Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries up 11.5 pct last year

Trade between Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries grew to 671.9 million patacas (US$84.1 million) last year – an increase of 11.5 percent over 2015 – according to the Macao Statistics and Census Service.

The statistics bureau says Macao imported goods worth 666.1 million patacas from the Portuguese-speaking Countries last year, which was a 10.7-percent increase from 2015.

The value of Macao’s exports to the Portuguese-speaking Countries reached 5.8 million patacas last year, up from 800,000 patacas in 2015.
