According to portuguese newspaper Jornal de Negócios, the Chinese electric car brand Aiways, represented by the Portuguese group Astara, marks its start of operations with the U5, a 100% electric SUV, available for sale in Portugal from June.
The U5 is the first model of Aiways and will be sold in Portugal with the Prime level of equipments, which puts it aligned with the top of the products in the EV market in terms of safety, comfort and technology on board.
As the first Chinese electric car ‘start-up’ to enter Europe, Aiways is already present in nine other markets – Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
